TRULINE DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
Please review the following requirements and click on the Apply Now link at the bottom of this page. Only applications that meet or exceed the Minimum Driver Requirements will be accepted.
Age Requirement:
Minimum 23 Years of Age on CDL-Drivers
Minimum 21 Years of Age on NON-CDL Drivers
Experience Requirement: Class A CDL & Class B CDL – One year verifiable driving experience within the last three (3) years for the class of CDL license issued and type of equipment operated. NON CDL – Six (6) months verifiable driving and delivery experience within the last three (3) years.
Criminal Background: Criminal background investigation performed on applicants for county of residence or previous seven (7) years. No felony convictions in past seven (7) years. Any felony of a violent nature beyond seven (7) years must be approved through our safety department.
State Motor Vehicle Driving Record:
WITHIN LAST THREE (3) YEARS – No more than a total of three (3) moving violations or accidents, of which only two (2) can be in a CMV with a maximum of one (1) accident in a CMV.
WITHIN LAST FIVE (5) YEARS – No DUI/DWI convictions and no drug related convictions.
EVER – No serious violations involving a CMV, such as: leaving the scene of an accident, causing a fatality through negligent operation of CMV, driving with a suspended license, etc.
Drug Screened: Applicant must pass a pre-employment drug screen with a negative result.
Note: For criminal background, motor vehicle record check and previous employment verifications, TruLine employs EBI, an industry recognized company for providing such services. Drivers, once hired by TruLine, are enrolled in a DOT Random Drug Testing Program, and have their annual reviews performed in accordance with DOT requirements.

What is the process for getting drivers?

By understanding your company’s needs and background we can determine which programs and solutions best fit your needs. You will then receive a service agreement that shows our services and policies. We require all clients to sign the service agreement, which includes our policies, pricing, and credit application. By signing this agreement you are not forced to use our services, but this will allow us to quickly respond to your business needs.

How soon can I start working?
Once all your documents are verified, and a negative DOT drug test result is received, TruLine will contact you regarding assignments to meet your needs. We offer a wide range of assignments and long-term placement opportunities. Normal processing time is 48-72 hours.
How will I be paid?
TruLine offers numerous pay options. You will be paid weekly; however, your pay may vary depending on the type of assignment. Some assignments pay mileage or hourly. The pay method will be discussed prior to you accepting the assignment.
When do I get paid?
Payroll is submitted on Tuesday for the previous week and your funds will become available Thursday or Friday depending on certain banks. TruLine offers direct deposit, pay card, or paper check; you will decide which option is best for you during the application process. Your pay method can be changed at any time.
Do you offer benefits?

Will I work more than 40 hours a week?
This is one of the benefits TruLine offers. You are able to pick the assignment that meets your needs. We offer numerous full and part-time positions, and some positions offer 40+ hours a week.
